  I have been struggling with my scoring ever since I had a stroke, My average before I played this morning was 67.68. Today I had a good round at Kiawah and shot one under par 71. However my average did not even come down one measly decimal point. I figured it would be at least 67.67. Can someone explain why it didn't as bad rounds are not averaged in.

  It won't come down if you score a 71 when you should be scoring 67.68...one good thing is you've obviously reached saturation point as it didn't  rise :)
