Is it just me, or is there a huge inconsistency when it comes to the effect wind has on wedge shots from 60 to 90 yards? Sometimes into a headwind there is no reduction in distance at all, whereas at other times it is as if the effect is the same as for much longer shots. This also applies to tail winds. This has ruined more rounds than I care to remember. Obviously the best players have learned the secret to this. What is it?!
