I have an idea in which WGT can increase income & player retention  via being able to sell old clubs to a 'Country Club Pro Shop' for resale at a reduced price.

CC Owner receives a profit (club kitty) to help fund prized tournaments..
These prizes will be gifts from the WGT Pro Shop, including and not limited to, Avatars, Boost, Balls etc, which would not be available in the CC pro Shop.

Once a club is bought S/H, it can ONLY be resold to WGT.

5 ways WGT can make or increase $ and a way CClubs can get a some funding.

    1. WGT makes usual $ on the initial purchase.
    2. WGT make a % when selling the unwanted club to the CCclub
    3. WGT make a % on CC sales
    4. WGT make a % on the sale of the resold club, back to them.
    5. WGT experience Increased Pro Shop Sales (Extra lower tier sales & Player retention)

    This WILL promote the idea of purchasing new;

Eg; a Hack / Amateur or Pro can now afford a driver for his level, he see's exactly how much his game actually can improve.
(WGT makes $ here where they wouldn't normally)
No putter/ irons, at his level in the CC Shop, so he goes to the WGT shop.
(WGT makes $ here from CC promotion of buying up)

If an item can only be resold once, there is no danger of the CClub Pro Shop being overstocked or in fact having a Full Range of equipment at any given time.  (possibly in the first month of implementation only)

This would also only benefit the CC as the Club grows. Once the membership is stagnant and there are fewer new recruits the Pro Shop would eventually fade out, to a degree.

So, all the while the Country Club is getting funds to promote Tourneys for all levels.
Newbies have increased access to equipment and therefore better club membership/WGT player retention.

Wgt ultimately make increased pro shop revenue due to better Player Retention.

This is BIG, at the moment there is nothing in place for retention, no rewards of any 'perceived value'.
WGT make better dollars for the total sale of an item.
WGT would also experience greater equipment rental revenue.

Country Clubs are happier with a small level of funding to help in their Tournament Promotion - prizes are paid in WGT Pro shop items.

Seems like a Win - Win to me?

I think that is a great idea. I don't see a loser with this...
