I am a bit confused on the swing meters when buying clubs. Does it work like the display of a car speedometer with the more to the right the faster the meter or is it more to the left?

I have a talylormade 225 yd  Rocketbalz 3 wood that moves the slowest of my clubs and the meter is half way between the bottom left and top,but in the ads for other clubs they say they have  slow meters and are straight up.

    a little help plx n ty :)

    This.

As you progress through the game and buy the higher equipment the meter speeds get faster.
Straight up for a high level club i suppose is relatively slow.

You can buy balls with a 'feel' rating. these slow the meter down.

yes, as a newbie here, choosing how to spend 'real' money can be quite confusing.  I've got the idea in my head that the SLOWER the meter moves, the higher likelihood of hitting the ball straighter...

i don't see a crystal clear answer to the OP's question...

to have the slowest meter, do you want the 'speedometer' looking thing to be closer to the left or to the right??

    To the left.

They made it look like a speedometer/tachometer for a reason, the lower speed/RPM is on the left.  Just a tip, consistency is the key, if you start upgrading your clubs, try to keep the meter speed the same, as best you can.

I  have been trying to figure out the meter speeds myself. The new 287 Big Bertha shows a speed of 3.5 . Other clubs show a 3.0 or 4.0. Which of these has the slowest meter speed and which is the fastest ?? Thanks

With the new system, the higher the number the better it is.

With the old system the slowest meter speed would be indicated by a   but with the new system that will be a 5.0. It wasn't possible to go any slower than that with the old speedo, but with the new numbering system, now it is.

But at the other end of the scale the fastest meter speed   will now be a 0.0 and unless they start producing clubs with a negative meter speed value, that is the fastest.

So in summary, the fastest meter speed will be a 0.0 and as the number increases, the meter speed slows down.
