i've only played the odd free credit tourney . mostly play for fun .. CC tourneys, lotsa a/s, odd ranked game ..

just wondering however what the breakeven point would be for ur typical Legend Ready Go .. say a 100 or 200 crd RG .. what would one need to score to break even ?

30, 29 ? seems u have to be in top 15 to make more than u've spend .. & that puts the score needed in the 28 region .. would that guesstimate be sorta accurate ? or not

chris look at the closed tournament leaderboards for your answer. That should give you a good idea of what you have to shoot to break even.

Chris, I don't play them too often (when I'm 'on song' generally and only 'cheap' ones), but hardly ever finish outside the top 15 and mostly eighth place and above...'Dip your toes in' and I'm betting you'll do fine, +30% on your stake I'm guessing over a few RGs.

With your game you'll at least double your entry fees on most of legend tier RGs. Opens are a bigger challenge though. Remember to check out the scoreboards for the last 3 days and see where's your best chance. And if you want, I can PM you what tees they're played from, so you can estimate your scoring potential better. L tier St. Andrews, for example, won't earn you a top 10 if you don't score at least a 57, probably lower. But that's because it's being played from pro (medium) tees. I've been playing mostly RSG, BPB and KIA (all legend tier) and apart from a crappy round here or there doubled my credits most time, even lost 3 wins on the countback. Still hoping though, so if you decide you don't wanna throw your clubs in the mix, I won't really mind, lol. ;-)
