    Can't remember the site to check for pepperflash.

    Flash did an update although it was checked not to !!!!

    I know it is chrome//      something

    You check for that in your browser settings. Click the Show Advanced Settings at the bottom of the page that comes up when you click on the upper right corner and select Settings. Under the Content Settings tab you will see Plugins. The clickable link where it says "disable individual plugins" is where that Pepper Flash will show up and you can disable it.
