Equipped with my new Ping G20's, new Ping 100yd & 75yd wedges and new TM ATV 50yd wedge, starter putter and 10cr balls, I shot par @ Kiawah!
Some of you might think this score sucks, I think it's great. I've shot better with starter clubs, but for the first time out with new clubs, finding 3 sand traps as I learn to gauge distance in the wind, I'm happy.
Lipped 3 cups, left 3 other putts 6" short or less. My putting sucks. I'm sticking with the Starter putter until I dial in these new clubs.
I'm playing this game for a different reason than I imagine most are. I'm going to Scotland & England in two years, and taking my real Ping G20's to the real St. Andrews and Royal St. Georges. Between real experience & this virtual game, I want to "keep it real", at least for me.
