    Marco861:

There are several reasons for the disconnects, but I agree, someone who leaves because they are playing poorly is just rude.  I will not play a 2nd time with these people.  I play nightly with my brothers.  If one of us comes on after we start, we will all forfeit and restart with the tardy player.  The same if someone is booted from the game by WGT for some mysterious reason or 3 disconnects.  It's more important we all play together.  I notice sometimes one of us will have a yellow check mark.  I know this will affect us when we try to join a game with non family members, but such i the cost of loyalty.

The main point is have FUN.  Not many people are making money playing WGT.

    Hi Marco861.

Indeed there can be a good reason to stop a game, like yours.

Anyway we are not here to judge someone who stops a game and as you say the good way in my opinion also is to forfeit and not to disconnect.

Thanks for the invite but unfortunately I don't speak german and the description of you club indicates (in google translate has worked good) that in your club "we only speak german".

Anyway thanks again for your kindness. It would have been a pleasure.

Disconnects are unfortunately either a player quitting or a legitimate interruption. Either way, having to wait 5 minutes before the game is forfeited by the disconnected player is extremely annoying.

I suggest that rather then just a Forfeit button, that the remaining players have an option to mutually agree to drop the game. No one wins, no one loses. (Well, truthfully, WGT wins because players can more quickly start playing the next game and chewing up their purchased balls even sooner.)

They appear in multiplayer games. Set up one, e.g. matchplay or blitz, and you will see your own before you invite anybody else.
