FFS !! bought a sleeve for 675 credits (bloody pricey for 3 balls)

Playing away nicely when a message comes up along the lines of this ball is being taken out of service and it's gone - I wouldn't mind if I'd dumped it in thewater but it was sitting in the middle of the fairway

I've only got one left and I suppose that'll be gone soon. Not happy.

That is one of the drawbacks with the max balls. They have great feel. The distance is comparable to other good balls. That slower meter speed also helps  But the durability is a little less. And they do not accept  spin as well..  Yes  Max balls are very pricey. If they help your game though they are a solid choice.

You have been a member since March 2010, level 79 and have just worked out the balls have limited hits?

You are right though, they are bloody pricey. When you buy balls look at the durabilty - this is how long the ball will last (and there are some accurate posts in the forum about now many rounds you will get).

No relative of Pete are you? - the dog looks frightening familar lol.
