yes, when you create a game, you can select different modes, like practice, challenge and such. if you select practice, then you can set other elements like green speed, wind, pins.

How do I play practice mode alone?
On the game client page, where it says 'play the game' choose stroke play, then choose your course, then over on the right set game mode to practice.
