I have decided to just play the unlimited ball, but I would like to get the best set of clubs to maximize performance. Any suggestions?

G20s have slowest swing speed of any high trajectory irons.

Love the G20s. Excellent reasons for suggesting them paired with the Starter ball, Lonnie.

I get solid performance from the L79 RocketBladez with the Starter ball. The cheap thing even holds greens and a bit spins for those irons! Takes a few shots to get used to the lightening fast meter...so points against there.

Force is right, if you can stand the meter being a little faster the rocketbladez are better. Rent and try both sets.

As others have said the G20s due to the meter speed. I am not sure the reasoning behind using the starters ball but even with the G20s the longer approaches from legend tees will not stop the ball on many greens (I tried this when I had the G20s as an experiment). But with the G20s you can at least hit the ding with starters balls.

As you are level 89 the R11s will be available soon, so depends on how long you intend to use the starters ball for. But i have used the R11s with the starters and you need reflexes better than a cats to get near the ding lol, so I am no way recommending them as a suitable pairing!

If you plan to use the starters ball permanently, the G20s for me but if you change your mind in the future, you may regret buying them and then  upgrading (spending more) to the R11s.

Thanks for the suggestions ya'll! I decided to go with the R11's and the ATV wedges. Love em! The Nike putter aint too shabby either!

Mind you, the cheapest custom ball costs about 1 cr per 9 hole game. This is a small amount for the benefits of slower meter, better precision and a wee bit more of spin.
