Now i have reached L tier, I'm faced with a poser and need a bit of advice.

Presently I have wedges at distances of 60yds, 80yds and 90yds.

I'm around two weeks away from L90  and am starting to look at options. I have just have trialled the Bladez on rent for 24hrs. The PW on RBladez (i rather like the feel of the L79 irons) is an unusually high 125yds. Whereas the G20's and the R11s are 110 and 120 respectively.

As a result there is large gap between the current longest wedge in my bag and that of the RBladez PW.

What would be the ideal distance spread for this set and, for that matter, the G20's and the R11s?

if you have the credits then try get a 100 yard wedge and sell the 90 yard wedge.

the pw on the rbladez punches well at 108 yards so that covers the gap somewhat between the 100 and 125 yards

I have the Cleveland 60 80 and 100 yard wedges.  These work well with the R11's that go from 120 to 225.  The punch is 50, 68 and 84 on the Cleveland wedges I think.  You can also add 5 yards or so on the Cleveland wedges by putting overspin on them, still stops just carrys longer.  No spin at all tends to go the distance shown on the club, they stop well on flops and chips using full backspin.

For my mind these are the best wedges once you understand the spin and when to use it and when it keep it off.
