Heavy winds on courses with no tree's like St.A and Rsg are a Nitemare, compared to the Tree Lined Courses.
There is a good Wind Distance Calculator that you can get from here... Do a search for it in the Forums or if somebody else can give you the link to it.

Yes but those 2 courses the heavy winds are also up to 10 miles and hour faster than all the other courses heavy winds. Moderate winds at St. Andrews and RSG are heavy winds on all the other courses. But I do feel that there are some places where the trees do indeed affect the winds. # 11 @ CCC and # 8 @ BPB are 2 good examples.
