I think I am close to achieving legend status.  In preparation I purchased the full set of TM R11 (level 90) clubs - driver, 3w, hybrid, and irons.

I am ready to upgrade my wedges - currently using a

    Ping TourW 64 (level 42) - 60 yards

    TaylorMade Z Satin TP 54 (level 14) - 85 yards

Not using a third wedge instead carry the TM R11 hybrid

Do I add a 100 yard wedge and keep the two that I have which I am already use to or get all three and which?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions and advice!

    Ray

I'd sell back the hybrid and use 3 equally spaced wedges.  Something like a 50, 75, 100.

I agree with Courtney, three wedges are the way to go.  The R11 hybrid hits the same distance as the R11 3 iron so is utterly redundant.  With the PW from your set hitting 120 yards wedges that go 50, 75 and 100 will fit the bill nicely.

I am also thinking about going to the ATV wedges from the higher level cleves, is that a mistake, i am not sure at this point, i have heard negative things about the 100 yard ATV, but good things about the next 2. I know some of my CC plays ATVs and some Cleves, my problems with the cleves is the spin ratio, you are scared to use any bs on some holes, unless you got some favorable room, plus the meter speed, but i dont know much about the ATVs in terms of flops and chips, i love the Cleve flops and thanks to a good mentor, i flop pretty well, lol, i am old I always flop well. Any feed back from some stronger players would be appreciated, just a backround i am a legend at level 86, so i have to wait some time.

I have both Cleveland & the upper ATV in 56 & 60.  No complaints with either really.

When I carried G20's I carried all ATV.  Now I carry RocketBlades, the Cleveland 56 degree just seems to fit better for me.  I only use it on approach.

For the 60 degree I like the ATV for 2 reasons.  One I prefer the distance (75 yrds vs. 80 for Cleveland) since I carry a 50 yrd. ATV 64 degree.  Two, I have more confidence with it on my chips.

I still carry a level 39 ATV for a 64 degree.  I rented the upper level ATV 64 degree a while back, then again both days of the last free rental.  I do better with the lower level one from sand, so it stayed.

Just a TP after 3 weeks, so this may not appy, but my ATV 64 (the one that is rated 50 yards) is like a magic club that forgives almost anything. Very different from the rest of that line at that level, but either there is a glitch or everyone who owns one has found the same thing. Unbelievable. With my twitchy meter and twitchier fingers, and a brain that loses attention while the meter is going....this club is saving me over and over. The game wouldn't even be fun if all clubs were this forgiving. But this magic club will not leave my non-existent virtual bag for a long time.

I find the ATV's easier to use and does anyone really need to spin a ball back ten yards?
