I'm thinking about up grading my irons and the Max Iron set seems to have the best reviews for accuracy, spin etc,..anyone currently using them I would appreciate your thoughts on them,$30 seems to be a lot to spend for clubs, can the cost really be justified compared to others available at around level 50?..I've just begun to play in some ready goes and am trying to lower my scores by a shot or two so i can at least try to keep up with the cost of this game...

    Hi

I think they are great a set of clubs. I cant speak to performance since reviews cover it very well and it's generally a personal preference. Whether the cost is worth it, I think to improve, you have to upgrade.

Don't touch them with a barge pole or as your CC owner would say "avoid like the plague"

The meter is waay too fast (you'd need max balls to cope with it imo)

They won't last long either as you move up.) 3 iron 205y )

Wait 9 levels and go with the G20 set, they will last you till L79 bladZ or higher G20 set.

How come neither of your two accounts use them then? Just asking.

This could open up a can of words to the People not in the know.

One is a Wgt work account and the other is WgtIcon's real Profile account and one of the Elite who has passed the need of those Max Clubs :)

I thought we should clarify that...lol

I did have a bit of laugh at your comment though....lol

Edit... I should mention, the max clubs have a very fast meter as previously said and might cause more damage than it's worth.

Well I saw an L70 Legend using them and winning the OC RG with a 58 so they can't be too bad.

I should add they are excellent if you are willing to shell out 6 bucks a pop for a sleeve of max slow meter balls.
