It would be great for you guys to implement a "mic" option so players can literally speak to each other while playing, would be much nicer than typing back and forth. You do see this on xbox live of course and it's a nice option. You can simply implement a push to talk feature so people aren't talking over each other and a mute option if in a group play one person wants it quiet. I do think that in general, this will be a home-run for your platform and will make the multiplayer games a lot more engaging and fun.
Look forward to seeing the "mic" option soon, players will love this feature.
P.S. It would also be a good idea to let people send a "mic" recorded message to each other online. The voice message would simply go to that players inbox and he would listen to the audio. Again, this would eliminate the need to type and make it more of a hands free experience.
