    +1

Love my level 71 nike, and wouldn't waste the credits on half a dot here and there with the others, not worth it IMO

Recently played a skins credit game with two guys, both had max putters and couldnt putt to save their lives!!

which putter - very personal question. or, why not this 1?. or, why that 1?

main thing you need to know is: slower or fast meter.

it could depend of the speed of other clubs you use. creates reaction in relation eye-brain-finger. if you have your favorite speed - dont change it again. it is very hard to change reaction time of your finger. that need a lot of time and patience. my case: from faster to slower (Nike L77). after almost 3 weeks i still havent automatic 'click'. i could easily miss under 5 ft at easy surface, or have g1 over 30 or 50 ft (reaction time is less important). nike have better results at the faster greens (tourney and champs) - so i should back to practicing.

    You tried them all then??

Just because there's half a dot difference here and there means nothing IMO.

Besides do you actually play the game, you just seem to spend most of your time on here commenting in the forums!!

    just saying!!

    borntobesting:

Either of the 2 Max putters and the level 92 Ghost Spider are all better than the level 77 Nike.

The trouble is I can't just store away my Nike and pick up a new putter and play as if nothing has changed.

It takes an age to get to learn the behaviour and reaction to the various shots on and around the green - which I still haven't mastered but i'm confident about getting it close both close and far away from the hole most of the time.

Getting a new make of putter would mean going through the whole learning process again of learning how the putter behaves - something I don't want to repeat, as I dont have enough hair left to pull out in frustration after the last learning experience.

I have the Nike, and it was a high priority for me to have the best possible. It did take some time to work out it's vagaries, but once you are familiar with it, then there is nothing better.

The 10 foot meter is glorious, and so easy to switch to 20 if you really want to ding those 8 to 17 footers.

    Who can compute switching from 15 to 30 , I certainly can't..

    10% of 10 is 1, 10% of 20 is 2, easy as A B C

I personally thought the Max putter rubbish (putters are personal).  I find the L77 Nike VERY accurate.  You soon learn to hit short 6 footers that are 2 inches up slope with way more power than level ground.  50 foot putts even slightly up slope can be hit with only 34 ISH feet power.  All putters have a learning curve I found but so far the L77 Nike does it for me.

All the above based on tourney greens ............  I upgraded from the L66 Spider just because I wondered really, but have grown fond of it.  Now when and if I ever get to Level 92 and the top Level Spider (or equivalent thereof on the year 3010) who knows.......cheers
