  I'd suggest that you modify the game to allow a player to accept game invitations when they are only logged into their profile or forum page and not the game client itself. Often times, I might have just logged on, or only be in a forum when I receive an invitation. If you accept the invitation, it disappears and you are not taken to the game. I think accepting the invitation should serve the same function as clicking the "play now" link.

  it should work as it opens a new window. maybe you have a popup blocker?

  Thanks Icon....I'll triple check, but, I've also been told the same by several other players...

  Yes Icon, this doesn't happen as probably intended.

  If you accept an invite from the Game Client, the transition is far smoother.

  More often than not , if you don't have your game client window open and simply accept an invite from a page within WGT site, it takes far too long for the accepted invite to register to the host. Sometimes the game client doesn't open at all.

  This is why when I go Green - available, i will always open my Game Client as well. So as to not miss invites due to this.
