...this was the new tournament to replace the flag tournament, because my members were not allowed to play,-Evidently..our flag tournament isn't nullified, our tournament is though, all flags cannot be represented by the respectful entrants, Hunt is now Cancelled..We will start anew....

Therefore a new tournament called Pro-Master-Shootout-simply shoot better than anyone else...1rst,2nd,& third will have a contest  posistion with it.You must play for overall high score., 72hours from start, finish the rounds to qualify....cutline will be pre-registered on a trial basis @ 60per-cent.Shootout may only have 4 to qualify as a game...& thus be entered into final set of 18 holes, match play.4 mandatory players to start as well as finish, cutline can & will be adjusted.

All players will be named in the final match, by process of elimination. No Restarts! If competetor leaves, for any reason,he/she is disqualified.Everyone meets at designated area, equally ready for play, for a practice 3holes, last man playing last hole is then directed to offer resignation of the game equally. You may publicly ask questions in reply to this document...or click my email..or message me..BigArn  is my att&yahoo messengercowboywrite to.. I'm confused....

What is the connection between states and not being allowed to play?

    Thanks!

    Hi Arn,

If your tournaments include purses then they are subject to local or state skill-gaming regulations.  Players living in the states listed below are unfortunately prohibited from participating in pursed Club Tournaments, Ready-Go's or Match Play Challenge.

It is disappointing for sure, but required for us to remain compliant with all local and state gaming regulations.  All members can play in the free tournaments.

The U.S. states that do not allow skill-based gaming are: Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Iowa, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Montana, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, and Vermont

This is upsetting, i was looking forward to playing with my fellow CC members in small tourneys but will be unable to now. Any chance this will change in the near future?

    Hi Pettingzoo,

Unfortunately, that is beyond our control. =(

The regulations are in place only because the states I mentioned above (and some countries) require it.  The best thing you can do is get in touch with your state representative and tell them that you think online skill-gaming should be allowed in your state.

All members will still be able to play in the free CC tournaments and club owners may choose to sponsor a prize of some sort that could be gifted to the winner.  Since there is no entry fee involved that is ok to do.

Yes, you can .. but when WGT finds out, you lose everything...

    From the Terms and Conditions:

    • You agree to provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by a registration form to obtain a password for any Restricted Areas (as defined below).

So, you have to ask yourself... is it worth it?

So if the entry fee is the problem how come I was eligible to enter the July Multi-round Open ? That costed 100 credits to enter with Gift cards as prizes for the top 3 finishers. Since those of us in non skill- gaming states can apparently play for prizes it would be nice to see more tournaments of this nature in the future.
