  On the third hole, it appears that the ball rolls through the pin, or perhaps over the cup. If you think it goes over the cup, the ball wasn't going fast and stops only two feet past . It would have lipped out or gone in. Of course I think I was robbed of a challenge ace. What do you think happened?

  They cut the green grass really close?

  Was the hole uphill, downhill, or level?  If downhill, your ball traveled faster than normal.  Fast enough to take it 2' past.  I suspect it just skipped over the hole but I certainly understand your frustration.  Hope you got the bird!
