Hi, everyone, I have just recently moved from the Tour Pro to Masters tier, so the tees just got longer:(. But I have been playing pretty bad of late shooting in more of the high 60's rather than mid or low 60's that I used to score. Well, I didn't spend a dime on the game and isn't planning too, my driver does about 245, 3 wood 220, hybrid 195, irons 185-115, but the point is do I need to improve my club to score better or is it just me that had been horrible. I kinda think I need to improve my driver, which one would u recommend that is cheap but good. Plz tell me if I need to improve something else except for my driver instead if that is what you think, cuz I can probably buy only 1 item. Of course, any gift would be greatly appreciated.

    Have fun, Qzheng

Well I'd drop the hybrid and get a 3rd wedge, I think that would help your scores better than a driver but others may disagree. If you decide on a driver I'd go for the level 69 Rocketballz.

At lvl 70, quite a few good clubs are available.

The 3rd wedge is a good proposal, alas only necessary if there is a gap between PW and the others, taking the punch shots into account.

The Pro driver has 245 yds. A budget replacement for this might be a strong 3WD (230-240 yds), 1/3 of the cost and of multiple use on tee and fairway.

The G20 (lvl 58) has high trajectory, the RBZ (69) is med and a wee bit longer, yet more expensive. The Rapture (47) is shorter & med/high at a budget price.

Of course this may not be the final set-up for a Master but not wasted at all.

Also consider to use some cheapo custom balls - also a big improvement for 1 cr per 9 hole game!

Henz, both courtney and alosso have given you excellent information. Everyone has to decide what we won't out of this game. If your desire is to have fun and probably stay at master tier, you could purchase a few wedges (3) and continue to have fun. If you desire for your scores to continue to go down and continue to tier up, eventually you will have to invest in some clubs and maybe even a little better ball as alosso has mentioned. I you decide to invest in some clubs, the g 20 set at lvl 59 will last you until legend. Whatever you decide to do remember this is a game that was created for people to enjoy but the tees and tiers were created for wgt to make money so yes equipment is necessary if you desire to advance.
