I just recently became a senior citizen, and so I have a small window of opportunity while a young senior to outperform more senior seniors, but WGT does not have senior leagues. Why? Probably because incorporating senior leagues would require age verification, and that is probably a lot of work.

However, we are plentiful, often have money to burn, and we have nothing better to do than play a round of golf. Most people lose their athleticism by the time they are seniors, and have trouble competing with thirty somethings, not to mention 10 year olds. Yet WGT throws all of us together to compete and what happens is we lose to younger players who don't have twitchy fingers. Result: Less play. I'd play in Ready-Go Tournaments if I had a chance to win one, but middle of the pack is all I can hope for. I still enter tier level ready-go tournaments once in a while, but you stopped running them for my local golf course (Congressional). Why is that?

I'm fairly certain there are lots of us seniors playing here on WGT who would appreciate some considerations. If another game comes along with senior leagues I am gone.

    Hi:)

As you have said, verifying things over internet is hard, so we prefer to use an honor system driven by the community.

the best way to have a league is to use community organized tournaments forum. find members, elect a tournament runner and have yourselves a league.
