This has nothing to do with the player's skills of perfect putting.
I mean that there are (at least) two putting techniques, and they need different putters.
1) "Ding" putters. They move the marker according to the green break and try to hit the ding for a perfect shot. They need a fault-tolerant putter such as the Nike and others.
2) "Off-Ding" putters. They usually don't move the puttermarker and try to work the break by missing the ding, thus deviating the roll. They need a putter which accepts the "fault", thus less fault-tolerant. The Rossa is one of those.
Of course you can "Ding" with a Rossa, but it's not so good to use a tolerant putter for off-ding putting. It would compensate the wanted misses.
