I always think its a shame that when WGT bring out new equipment, more often than not, it replaces another piece. It would be nice to keep the old equipment in the shop. I understand the 5 dot rating system is limited and the new stuff is often more expensive, WGT won't want a cheaper substitute available, but there must be a way. Maybe 'de-rating' the old equipment on new purchases.

Also, I understand courses being slow with the amount of work involved in mapping a course etc. but I don't understand why equipment releases are so slow (the same issues?).

I think its so funny when members call for different new brands of clubs, balls, putters, etc. The truth is WGT could take the cheapest no name clubs off the shelf and program them to be the top preforming clubs in the pro shop. Brand name means nothing other than selling the name.

Away from whatever brand may or may not happen..........I think this thread serves as yet another reminder that the upper end of the pro shop needs a severe refit to in any way sim a real one! The last upper end driver they brought out was a

TaylorMade RocketBallz Stage 2 Tour 8.5° Driver (L80+)

As it stands I can't see one review in the pro shop for this. And IMHO with very good reason! With what's around it just looks the definition of space waste. Not wishing sound rude as WGT do many things very well, but this is an area to work on quickly!

Anyway loads threads on people suggesting Pro Shop improvements upper end......
