    Kratan:

Joined a CC yesterday. But havnt really spoke to any of them, dont seem to talk much. I guess ill just stick to playing stroke play and trying to find new people that way.

Make sure you introduce yourself in their forum and play in the CC Tournaments.A good CC will be a great way to meet people so say that you are willing to learn and play with anyone - you make get some helpful tips.

As Courteney says, some people do not ask for advice (or don't listen to it) and then never blame  themselves! You seem smarter so I wish you the very best.

You might apply for friendship of other active members of your tier - look into the member list. Thus you'll see each other "green" and get opportunities to play. Some react, some don't...

Thanks for all the great advice. I want to progress, and well you dont learn with getting advice from those who have been there and done that. Hopefully when a cc tourney comes out ill find some players. Just gotta try and keep my scores under par.

Also on credits, ive tried to do surveys. But i havnt qualified for a single one out of about 15 so far. What do you wear on feet. I answered shoes ( only logical answer ) I was told i didnt qualify?

For most surveys you must work in your companies IT department.

I don´t want to replace my equipment every few levels. So as a level 57 Pro I still use the Starters plus set - 99 credits for almost all clubs you need. The performance is not better than the starter set. But the slowest swing meter you can get on WGT helps them to work reasonably good.

But my stats tell me the aproach to the green is the weakest part of my game and putting the strongest. The equipment  I use is probably responsible for that. The Taylormade R driver has a bit too fast swing meter (2) when using it with a ball without swing meter slow down. So I miss the fairway a bit too often

When I reach Level 58 (in the next few days - about 2 months after starting wgt) I´ll buy the Ping G20 clubs. I already have one of the best and most expensive putters available on wgt - the Nike method 001. That one really helps with putting. Before I had the Ping anser putter. And a Taylormade R1 Driver.

I have not yet found wedges that apeal to me. Most have either a too fast meter or poor performance.

It looks like your CC has only about 60 members still playing. I would hope it has at least a dozen tournaments running at one time or I'd look elsewhere if I were you.

AFAIK you'll have to wait very long to find slow wedges. All the basic wedges have the same meter speed. Any level 40ish wedge will improve your short game immensely.

Generally, concerning meter speed, custom balls would help a lot. You need not get expensive "feel" balls - the cheapest WGT ball will add some comfort if you agree to spend a few credits on a steady basis.

From the way i play mostly ( I rented r11's for a day ) And noticed i play much better with a fast swing speed, as im constantly hitting to early on the slow meter. With the r11's, i found it so much easier to ping. Slow speed actually seems to make it harder for me.

But that was only about 10-12 games. In a day, so maybe it was a fluke.

And currently my CC has i think 1 tournie, and the score set is well out of my reach.
