[Forgive me as this does not feature myself playing on a course, but rather it shows me on a course involved with the broadcast of a major golf event]
The St Petersburg Vocational Technical Institute (now P.E.T.C.) had us work the JC Penney Golf classic in 1987 & '88. The one year I was in the control room helping to relay leaderboard scores, and in '88 I was on wireless shotgun mic on the 18th hole. They gave us free food (and beer later!) — at Bardmoor Golf Course Largo,fl.
I was allowed on the FWs and greens, but be careful not to make imprints!
I was 22 in these pictures. It was a little chilly in Fla. that December.
