  Hi,

       This is my first post and I would like some feedback on my ?

       I have just started playing this after many years playing tigerwoods until EA sports

      decided to pull the plug on the PC version , now my ? is it worth investing some

      money to upgrade my clubs from the starter clubs, will I see a difference as I can't

      be bothered trying to get credits by filling in forums or watching vids, takes to long .

      Any replies will be greatly appreciated .

  When I was first starting out I found this thread to be quite helpful in terms of saving/wasting money to buy equipment.  There may be some outdated references to some specific clubs etc. but good advice overall.   -Keith

  IMO  I would wait until you level up to at least 48. Most here, me included, bought too many upgrades. At level 48 or 49 you can buy Rapture driver, 3 wood, & irons that can take you right up to legend if you want. Wedges....  use 3  at 60, 80 100 or there about.  Putter is personal but I like the Daytona. Hope this helps.

  What you say!

  More general, unless the need for a change is irresistible,

  - do not start to buy wedges before level 18,

  - do not start to buy a putter before level 30,

  - do not start to buy woods and irons before level 47/48,

  - start buying balls as a Tour Pro, work your way through the list from cheap to expensive. Try to avoid using a ball with higher level than your main clubs.
