  A player at Master, level 94, stroke play avge. 54.89, 39 ranked rounds played, 37 Stroke Play Tournaments entered. Best 9 Holes 26, Best 18 Holes 54. This player either wins or nearly wins every RG entered.

  My question is, with these stats how can he be just a Master? Surely he must be manipulating the system?

  I believe that you need at least 500 ranked rounds(could be wrong) as a master to move up to the next level. So with only 39 as a master he still has a way to go.

  there was a huge thread about him and his other aliases yesterday but the threads been deleted and no doubt WGT are investigating the player in question.

  My biggest IF about this player,(whomever it is),is the fact that he or she is a level 94!!!!As i no it you must play ranked rounds to level up and with the rounds he or she has played,how do you get to level 94 unless that person spent a lot on level up's???

  Not true.  You get level points for any type of game you play.  "tiering" up is what takes ranked stroke play rounds.  

   

  If someone plays mostly non-stroke play rounds, i.e.  alt/shot, ctth, matchplay, skins, blitz, then they will have lots of practice with no change in average or tier, but their "level" will continue to rise.

  To move to tour master you need to play 40 ranked rounds as a master, the 500 rounds are from legend to tour legend.  In theory this player hasn't played enough ranked rounds to reach the master tier, you should have had to play at least 60 to advance through the tiers.  I assume they've promoted due to good scoring and winning tournaments.

  Despite everything you may read about auto-dingers and software that allows you to hit a perfect shot every time, people like this are the real cheats.  Hang 'em high Icon.
