Both are equal good from Db e Mb.

    Fraenkel:

    Hope support will read this.

I suggested this one but I can agree with you two guys. A countdown certainly interfere with game but at the same time gives you the chance to push on stroke or abort the game. I think that mine was a borderline case, never read about members that gone 'till this point, just a few seconds left and puff, game closed.

I like that support, thank you guys.

shoe- Unfortunately a reminder at the turn is not going to work for anyone whose time expires on the back nine or is playing a 9 hole tournament round.

The OP acknowledges that he knew time was short and was rushing to get the round in. A reminder at the turn would not have changed his issue.

I like MB's timer on the scorecard and I also like the current system. Related to this I also like the idea of posting the actual time parameters for each round as part of the original tournament description for multi-round tourneys.

The reminder would just be there to say you have 15 min left in the tournament.  I know it won't help with OP issue but, in his case he was well aware of the time restrictions he had and chose to still try and finish.  I like the scorecard idea a lot.  My idea was just to give people that extra warning as to how much time was left.

If a player knows his time is running close there is a simple solution. Most  nation members have 100 shot speed up boosts from the UL tourney that we never used. Just activate it for that tourney and you can finish in 1/2 the time. (edit) I just checked and I have 198 speed-up boosts left and I'm sure most nation members have most of theirs left too.

shoe- I agree. Anything that provides a little more information to base decisions on is a good thing.

btb- good idea. I'd completely forgotten about those. For those who occasionally run into the time problem it would be worth it to buy a few, keeping them in inventory just in case the need arises.

We didn't even have to buy them. Nation members were given one when we entered a couple of Nation tourneys and most of us never even used them.
