  there is no rhyme nor reason here.This is a video game.nothing lkie real golf.Look at the virtual u.s. open scores..53?? there is not a pro golfer in this UNIVERSE that will shoot a 63 never mind a 53 at Merion. LMAO  joke

  Yep.  And don't forget that the more good rounds you play the better your worst round of those 500 is.  Today when you hit a 56 it might replace a 66, in 4 months it might only replace a 63.

  Getting the last 0.10 to reach TL can take ages.

  Wow does it really matter that much !! This is only a computer game !! Get a sense of perspective about all this please.
