Nick - Same thing happens to me, I think it is because I am "double tapping" the left mouse key when I hit it (like hithit - very fast). It has been like this for over 1 year, so it has to be my fault.

Which option box are you getting?  A screen shot would be helpful.

I'm wondering if it is the right-click option menu.

Brb.....will go get some screen shots of different option boxes that I can think of...

Is this the box you are seeing??  If so, this is what the right-click menu looks like.

i wonder if you are hitting the left and right click at the same time. i often do this resulting in the screen including the global setting screen to also show.  don't know. think i need a new mouse as i cannot quite get this one into low orbit yet !!

When you are left clicking your mouse to take the shot. you are also clicking the right click on your mouse. Just left click  anywhere and the box will be gone. As mentioned that is where you will see LOOP make sure there is not a check mark on it, if there is click it and the check is gone. Hope that helps

That's because you pressed the right button on your mouse with your middle finger at the same time you clicked the left button with your index finger. Nothing to worry about, just left-click anywhere on the screen and the options box will go away.

*edit* posted this prior to reading Hewsey's post.

that sounds like a bad mouse (sticking buttons) or accidental finger click.
