I agree, we should be able to gather in a virtual "clubhouse" where we can chat, and see what multiplayer games are being started (with full details) so instead of inputting criteria and letting the server choose one for us, or creating one from scratch, we can tell at a glance what games are waiting for players and possibly pick one to jump in and start right away.
If there are too many players to make a single clubhouse practical, there could be multiple clubhouses to choose from, and some might be "full" and not allow any more players in until someone leaves, etc. This type of thing is a common feature of many online multiplayer game sites and I'm really surprised that WGT did not build in something like it from the start.
