  Stats are pretty much worthless as they stand, as they are from day 1.In my case persisting with starters clubs for a year until I made master, my stats were dire - so yes, a fair reflection since day 1 but VERY misleading if  you compared them for say the last 200 odd rounds.

  Also for  some players who quit a round the second they hit a bad shot will grossly distort these figures.

  Time for a re-vamp of this antiquated system for something that has some meaning.

  Agreed, perhaps as has been said, reset stats with each tier, but also why not allocate certain stats per hole rather than per completed round. So every hole you complete your stats are added, of course sand / scrambling / average etc would have to remain per completed round, (unless anyone can think of a better way.)

  Simply speaking, I also think the stats should reflect your changes in tier, and when you change equipment.

  Starting from Day 1 is ridiculous, we all have different objectives when we start, it was just AS fun for me, didn't give tuppence for my scores.

  LOL - sadly I think you are right - this one got filed into the "to hard basket" many moons ago at WGT.

  Sadly if it doesn't generate revenue it goes to the bottom of the heap of suggestions.
