  how are scores calculated?  It's clearly not just ctth, I played three rounds with a threesome and we all noticed several times that the ctth person (on the green, in play) didn't always get the most points.  Can anyone explain the scoring - what else comes into play?

  there are extra points awarded for hitting the green consecutively, called hit the green streak.  There is also another streak for landing 10 feet from the hole on consecutive holes, called and accuracy streak. There are extra points for holes in one and a few other things as well. I think one involves hitting into a hazard on a hole then hitting onto the green or insde 10 feet on the next hole. 

  Also what you are talking about i believe is the multi player CTTH called blitz

  Theres an acuaracy bonus, and hit the green bonus, so if you missed one green and the other player dont thats why even you are closer he get more points than you, because he is in a "streak" bonus.
