I just bought the Irons as tourmaster lvl 59,

I had the k15 before and was very accurate with those, but I am overhitting the g20s

I am sure I will get the right swing soon.

They do seem to shoot 5 yards more than the nrs.

I like them a lot ,slow meter and accurate, I use a bit more spin to get closer to the correct nrs.

I recommend you to buy level 59 G20 irons.

    Till legend they are enough.

Using the G20s lvl 59 since master, nothing to complain about, works great with srixons 180c, put 1/2 of backspin to that ball and you get the reference distance on every shoot ;)

    L59 G20s - First high trajectory iron's

3 nicely spaced wedges NOW though..Hybrid is a waste, use 3 wood to punch from rough.

+1 nice irons, should take you all the way to legend easy. Like Jim said 3 wedges are the play.

Go with the G-20's, however I disagree a hybrid club is a "waste" vs the extra wedge. Look at the distance on the G-20 hybrid vs the distance of the extra wedge. Then take note of which one you find yourself needing more. Me, I dropped the 3rd wedge in favor of the hybrid because I found I needed a club between the 3 wood and 3 iron more often than I needed the wedge. Punching the 3 wood is okay but remember--a "punch" shot with a wood has little if any backspin and will land "hot". A lot of players will disagree, that's okay, its JMHO.

I think the reason why most players think the hybrid is a dinosaur is because the wedges you will use a lot more often than you would use the hydrid.

Take your stats (and these can be misleading), you hit 82% of fairways but only hit 67% of GIR. Bearing in mind when everyone scores well it is due to their short game, hence the third wedge will "save you" a lot more shots than equiping a hybrid. I agree with the 3W punch coming out hot, therefore lack of control, so if I have a really poor lie, punch to the fairway say using a 5I, and leave myself a 100 yard wedge to the green, hopefully within 2-3 yards for a par.

The real downside with only 2 wedges is you will often not be able to hit full shots (either punch or full) and as a result yardages are harder to gauge. With three this eliminates a lot of the guesswork (provided they are evenly spaced).

Having said that I do respect your opinion and by having all opinions expressed in the forums, then the players can make an informed choice.
