    how many strokes do you have to be under par to lower your avg??  i'm a lvl 65.05 master. twice i have been -3 under but my avg stayed the same

    WGT uses your best 25 ranked rounds (I believe) at the Master tier to determine your average. In order for your average to go down, you only need to shoot better than the worst of your best 25.

    I'd assume that the 3 under you refer to is for 9 holes, not 18, which would equate to 6 under for 18, or at worst, a 66. Shooting a 66 with a 65 average isn't going to make your average drop much, if at all.

    The number is 40 :)

    No difference here since Robb has plenty rounds, at least 200.

    Last round was a 33 at STA as you assumed, 66.

    Highest round in the mix is not more than a 68, thus 2/40 = 0.05 can be expected as the maximum drop.
