  I moved to level 38 and at that time I bought a ping g20 hybrid, my credits were deducted but it does not appear the the club is in my bag.

  To select and equip new virtual golf clubs and balls in the game, follow these steps:
  
  1) Select the MY EQUIPMENT option after purchase, or on the My Profile page, or in the Game Menu
  2) Click and Drag the new club or ball from your INVENTORY to IN MY BAG
  3) Click the SAVE CHANGES button
  
  Please keep in mind that you can't change equipment during an active game.

  He won't find the G-20 hybrid in his bag. He didn't buy the G-20 hybrid. According to his activity he in point of fact bought the K-15 Hybrid.
