All Max balls have 5 dots of feel and slow the meter down the most. But they lack a little bit in spin and are quite expensive. The lower level Nike 20Xi-X  RZN and 20Xi-S RZN have 3 1/2 dots. A little faster meter but over all much better balls and cheaper than most of the max balls. But for me for over all performance and cost it is the level 35+ Callaway touri-z ball. Almost as good as the Nikes but much cheaper.

The level 1 Callaway is 1/2 the price of those Max balls and has the same meter as the slowest Nikes at level 80 and above. Of course you lose distance and spin but there's 2 dots each of those if that's enough for you.

thanks...finally broke down and moved to the R11 irons...been using the level 34 Cally slow meter and was just wondering if there were other balls that slowed it down more without going and looking at them all. In the end, I just need to get used to the faster meter and learn to play better.

Play some fun rounds with the Srixons...they play well enough...then you can jump to regular Cally's or Nike's and have a good feel for the clubs.

Remember, it's going to take a week or two to get comfortable with them

I find it easier to get a rythym with the Nikes rather than the slower metered Maxies......
