  Yep, can be done,  especially with speed boost.. 

  I think a lot of people think that the time left is for them to tee off, not finish. As was mentioned, what happens if the player doesn't finish for whatever reason? Do the rest have to wait? I think WGT have it set up right.

  There was 27mins left in my round i as on the 18th hole i had a 3ft putt i putted the shot as it was on the way in the cup the game just suddenly ended and it comes on and says sorry but time is up and you missed the cut now thats *** that round should not have ended no matter what as long as i started the game anytime before the deadline,it should have let me finish the round *** i spend alot of money on this game and will consier quiting if not fixed im pissed off.i no its just a game but its hard to take Rocinroll is my wgt name.

  It can be done, used 4x ultra boost today as I was waaay late for the 300cr kiawah RG, only had a little less than 18 minutes to finish -.-"
  
  Missed it barely, finished after 21minutes, too late though :)
  But forget thinking while playing like that, literally smashed every shot within few seconds, the damn loading time between strokes and holes takes so much time..for my low end notebook atleast.

  Don't blame WGT, who has given full 12 hours(!) to finish a RG for being too late, I was late because it got full at night, slept looong and then after a coffee and cigarette checked forums for a while before opening the client and seeing Remaining Time : 18minutes. :)
  No1 to blame but myself.

  When is says  27 minutes it means you have 27 minutes to play the round not that you have 27 minutes to start the round. You can not play 18 holes in 27 minutes even if you use speed up boost, you might get close but it can't be done. This was just poor time management on your end. No one gets to finish a round if the time expires while they are playing. That is the way it has always been and always will be. 

  Still dont get why he comments he is almost wrong 95 percent of the time.

  I think the point is that if you anticipate how long the game will last  and know when the tournament ends you should be fine.

  It happened to me just the other day was about to make a great score and literally putting on the 18th hole and the message came up  - tournament has ended. Do I blame WGT? Of course not. It ended as expected. It didn't matter to me as it was a free tournament.

  I certainly wouldn't enter a paid/high stakes tournament with just a few minutes left on the clock, that's asking for trouble.
