I recently bought 1 of the new bags where you can save club sets. In slot 2 i have an extra wedge and no driver for when i play the par 3 courses. Well after i played the 2 par 3 RG's i decided to play the 1000cr Best of Famous RG. But i forgot to change back to my normal set...DOH!!!
I thought i'd give it a crack anyway and to be honest, i'm more than pleased with the result. It just goes to show you don't need the big R1 to score well.
I'll probably only make half my stake back but it's better than nothing i suppose. It was a real challenge that i enjoyed and great practice for the long irons. I won't be making a habit of it though i hope :)
