ArmeniaKidd:
Hello,
For me, the most trickiest part of the survey is when it asks "What Do you or any family member work in" For some reason, i can never guess the right choice. 98% of the time when it asks me this question i guess it wrong and only get 5credits, instead of the full 120 or 590 or whatever.
Can anyone give me hints on how to overcome this!
There's two types of quesion at this stage of the survey. The one you will see most frequently is "Do you or an member of our family work in an of the following?" The list will include marketing, media, PR, advertising and a few others. The answer to is question should alway be "none of the above". The company commisoning the survey are worried you work in any of the aforementioned companies and will steal their marketing ideas. I would say this covers 80+%of the surveys andI get past this question 98% of the time with this answer.
Occasonally you will be ased a more speciic question say about IT or HR. In this example you have to make an educated guess which one they're after. Usually there's a clue in the original qualifying question.
If you are asked a specific question for example "are you responsible for shopping, decisions on mobile phones, television etc" the answer should always be yes. If you are asked have you ever heard of/shopped at/used any product and this is followed by a list, tick pretty much the lot. Even if you've never heard of say Venezulan Beaver Cheese, say you have and if possible that you have it on your tosat twice a day. If asked do you have any of the following credit cards, tick an even spread across Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Diners Club etc.
I hit around 80% of surveys (far better than my GIR)and can now do them onaverage in seven minutes. Is it worth it? Well that's a different question. I think it is, many think it isn't. However here I'm just answering your original question about how to get into the body of the survey.
Oh, and by the way, yes you are married, you are in full time employment, went on to degree level education and do have kids, at least two.
Hope this helps, Fekdrink.
