So I basically created a putting method tat can calculate any break on any course... And for the most part I make a majority of my putts. The only reason I miss any putts is because I can hardly ever get an accurate elevation read... Sometimes it will show 3 in up by the hole but if I drag it back to where the break is headed it will be 5 in up... And sometimes when I putt on each of those lines the other one will be in effect and I will burn the edge high or run it up to the lovely .2 inches. Would it be that difficult to add a (.) in with the read...

1.5 in instead of just 1. The ones I love the most show 0v all the way through the putt.. from ball to hole... so you putt it at that distance and what would you know. stops at .2 inches...

If wgt provided accurate information... Or at least provide a little more information that would be nice...

Just like how they have decimal points within 10 ft but not outside of it... rather annoying...

But don't fix anything because of me wgt... cause ill keep playing.. lol .. The sad truth

Putting short constantly is a horror!  When i first got my Daytona putter had that problem, learned to not try to be exact on the hole distance but to build in a 1 1/2 to 2 foot fudge factor.  Almost never short any more,  thank goodness!  my nickle.

I've brought up the decimal point thing before. What I always do is to move the distance marker back and forwards to try to calculate the likely height where the hole is, then I move the pointer to the back of the hole for a final calculation.

In a funny book entitled "Golf for Dummies", the author made the point that leaving the ball short is a huge mistake - if you don't sink the putt, hit it hard enough to have a tap-in. My putting stats are terrible, but I don't often leave them short!

Weida,  would you be good enough to share your method for calculating the break?

I'd like to see decimals. Until then I guess I'll just move the ball back and forth a few feet.
