    It sucks basically.

I played the RSG Tour no wind comp 3 times, one with Original to chack my meter was good, and it was perfectly smooth all the way

On 3 click the meter stuttered as it approached the ding line on every shot, making me feel very nervous.

On a choked shot or a little flop or pitch one had to also stop the damn thing on ur power mark, and then again try to hit the ding. Waaay too much effort

The friggin click here button I kept on missing, requiring 3 or more attempts to play the shot

just too much action going on in the meter area for me to focus on play

    Shot 33 in 3 click

Shot 30 in Original, with a fck up on #18

Besides the stutters what makes it the worst of the 3 meters in my opinion  is how fast it starts out no matter how many dots of feel your ball has.

this is the issues I have. I cant even get the bar to full power on 3 click swing :(

I liked too, reminded me the Links game with the 3 click, but as mentioned before the stutter is so annoying.

Can get the stuttering to stop and get a very smooth meter by using the "pepper" flash, but then the meter gets extremely fast.

WGT needs to work more on this stuttering but as it is only a test, it may never get fixed.

This is the disadvantage of using flash for the meter instead of a meter controlled purely by the game itself.

The hardest problem of this, in my opinion, is when you are using your putter. Normally, you can use high scales to try to make easier your ding but....meter starts too fast with putter too and cant control power and ding the same that with normal meter.

Try to repair this and will work great

agreed on all points .. if WGT can make the upward progress of the meter bar the same speed as the downward progress toward the ding line, then it'll actually be a great meter alternative .. and fix the stuttering of course

in fact, even better,  provide the ability to switch between meter types in play

I wrote and extensive review to WGT regarding this meter and gave it a 9.5 out of 10.  I find the speed is more constant than the original meter and when I use the meter it is perfectly smooth about 95% of the time.

The reason why the meter is a little slower when it goes to the left is to give you a better chance of hitting your yardage distance on the meter.  If it went too fast your distances would suffer greatly.

The thing I hate most about the Original meter is that the more of the meter you use for distance the faster the meter is going as it apporaches the ding.  It should be a constant speed.  I find the 3 Click to have that constant speed as it does not speed up as it approaches the ding.

There is always a tradeoff.  I find myself more accurate off the tee and with long irons but that clicking at the right spot for distance on short irons, wedges and putts is more challenging.  However, with practice you can get very good at stopping at the meter strength you want to use.

Right now the 3 Click is my preferred meter although I do swtich back to the Original as well just for a different look and feel.

WGT did a nice job with this one in my opinion.
