Right now I have a starter putter.  Putting seems to be a tough part of the game.  I am practicing, but I am wondering if there is a putter that people would recommend I try to save my credits for?

If you could manage to wait a little I would suggest the Daytona. Best value for money.

If you can't wait that long and value for money is less important, the Ghost Manta will be advised by some as well. I never played it though, so no opinion on it here.

    +1 to the Daytona!

The recommendation for level 24 is "none".

My general advice is "don't spend less than 500 crs for a putter". IMHO, a player will need the time to arrive at better putters for his own putting practice, and the Starter putter is not bad at all, except for long putts of 30+ feet.

It's better to spend 400 crs worth of the lower putters for two Ping wedges, giving more skills & precision in approaches.

but a pair of wedges is far more important for you right now. These will give you regularly shorter putts to have to make.

Shrude gives good advice. Good wedges give you far more options and make those putts smaller. The starter putter is pretty good over short distances.
