Will we ever be able to play a country club tourney with another member of our CC at the same time? It would be fun to be able to invite members to play together. Instead of always by our self. I think it would spice up the tourneys for the club members.

Single play CTTH was one of three things I wanted to see.  This is another and being able to message multiple members at once would be the third.

Erm? You can message more than one member at a time, but it takes a while.

What?  I'm not talking about emailing the club.  I'm talking about sending out a "group message" to more than one member.  Far as I know, you can only message one member at a time or send out a "club message."

My three main points on my wishlist are:

    1) The ability to create sub-threads in CC forum and to be able to move "errant" posts to where they belong.

    2) The facility to add a "shout-box" to CC forum so members can chat outside game - I know it is easy enough to set up an external "chat forum" but wuld be nice to be able to keep it within the confines of the CC members page.

    3) To be able to select "Available to CC members only" in lobby.

As for OP's wish - that is also a definite +1 from me.

Oh this would be the best thing to come from WGT since I started, imo.  Can you imagine the two leaders teeing off together in the final round?  Or you and a buddy playing the Weekly 18 Single Play together?  WGT needs to get on this asap.

Forgot one.....    probably the most important one as a CC owner: Ability to appoint a second in command to run things while I'm away on holiday/business/whatever!!

You can message 2 at a time just by adding another name at the top where it says recipients. Note the plural.

The group e-mail kinda works.  When you begin to enter the username in the recipients area, WGT's program checks your friend list and offers you suggestions.  Some of the time, you'll get the name you're looking for; other times, their search routine won't find the person you're looking for.  Forget about completing the name manually.  If it's not in the search list, you can't include that recipient in your group e-mail.

The current work-around for me is to make the message as general as possible and "copy" it.  Then enter the recipients names and pray they all come up.  For those that don't, you'll need to send them a separate message by loading their profile, clicking "send message" then pasting the general message in the message area.  You'll have to manually re-enter the topic, however.

One more downside to group e-mails.  If you reply to one, you cannot select the recipients.  Everyone in the group e-mail will receive the reply.  If you incorporate this, make sure you mention it's a group e-mail in the text.  Nothing worse than having a fellow member complain about having to play "with xxxxxxx", when "xxxxxxx" is a recipient of your group e-mail!

Maybe, when pigs sprout wings and learn to fly, we'll have full group e-mail capability.  For now though, you're just going to have to deal with the work-around.
