When you are any kind of game mode(single, match play or multi-player) and you click on the friends button, you get the drop down menu of all your friends but you are unable to slide the side bar down to see the rest of your friends.
I've had the same problem occur what I did to remedy it. was to click on a friend's name and scroll down the list using my mouse .it works for me hope this helps you . good luck
