  Sort of... the scorecard shows if you've got closer by the white box around the distance to that hole. If you didn't get closer or matched the closet it will be in the blue bar. Or maybe I have that reversed ... been awhile since I've played CTTH. Look closely at the scorecard next time you play.

  You got it right. The only thing you can deduce as far as your best on a hole is that it's better than what you just shot unless you get that white box.  :-)
