Great win by a class person.

Did you see how Phil was slapping hands with people in the gallery on his walk between the 17th green and the 18th tee? He even gave his ball to a kid.

This was one of the great finishing rounds, ever, in a Major golf tournament.

    Congrats to Phil!

A HUGE Congrats to Phil. The putt on 18 was simply -  AWESOME. Any Phil Mickleson fan had to yell out  - YEAH! when he sank that putt 18. I know I did.

that's just it......people talk about tiger and phil blowing last chances to win majors.

    tiger's still only 37 yrs old....phil's only 43.

experience, skill & knowledge are the key elements to golf.

we're seeing players competing at the highest level and winning majors well into their 40's (Els...Clarke) and if Tom Watson is anything to go by, I think age can be hugely disregarded if the player has the game and remains fit....well into his 50's.

Jimenez is 49 and he was top of the leader board for a bit.

I'm glad Phil won. What an outstanding final round.....for a 43 yrd old :)

Really outstanding - who would have thought of him Sunday morning? I didn't.

And then he rallied like Ian Poulter did, but Phil came from three strokes above and accelerated better at the end.

Both finished the front nine 34, Phil had a fabulous 32 for the back nine (Poulter 33). And, pulling away with -3 on holes 13 to 17 made him the Champion IMNSHO while the leaders struggled in rough and bunkers.

The birdie at 18 just closed the Jug, a finish in style on a splendid day.

    Bravo Phil, well deserved!

What He did on holes 17 and 18 were exceptional. But did you guys notice all the par saves between 5 and 12 feet that He made during the round. If those do not go in He may not be there mentally or physically at the end. Awesome job Phil the thrill.
