  When the R1 "Black" driver first became available, my longtime playing partner and I both bought it at almost the same time.  Something very strange about our drivers.  

  Mine has the big wide orange stripe in the middle of the shaft.  His R1 has a big wide white stripe in the middle of his shaft.  At first I thought it must be the way my graphics card displays the colors; but no, his screen shows the same orange/white anomaly.  

  Anyone else notice this about the R1 drivers?

  I bought the level 48 Black R1 a few days ago.  Mine also has an orange stripe just below the grip.

  Its definitely a WGT bug that the male version of the R1 shaft is different than the female version of the R1 shaft.  What do you see when you change from the female to male avatar?

  I'll be darned.  Changed to a female avatar, and wa-la... a white-striped shaft. Changed back to a male avatar, and wa-la... back to the orange-striped shaft.

  I don't know.  I guess I'll have to hear more about you and your partner comparing shafts.
