I've played some of the most famous courses in the US, some of the most difficult, some of the easiest & poorly cared for municipal courses, and have won 15 amateur tournaments across the US. I open with this, not for an ego trip, but to make what I hope is a valid and possible advancement in our game.

I have NEVER, EVER played any golf course that had ALL EVEN LIES, or ALL UNEVEN LIES. The easiest of courses have uneven lies. The hardest of courses have perfectly even lies.

My point is this. This game is so realistic that sometimes it becomes frightening. You give us courses to play with a choice of even or uneven lies. Want to make it more realistic, give the option of "random" lies. We've seen on TV, drives down the middle that land and stop in a divot, have uphill lies, downhill lies, fried egg lies in the bunker, balls in the rough with perfect lies, and those that are buried, sidehill, uphill lies. IT'S NEVER ALL GOOD OR ALL BAD!!!!

In the real world, I've shot in the low 60's, to the low 80's. And each course, regardless of difficulty, gives "interesting" lies. Variety. Realism. I hate playing all uneven lies. I love playing all even lies. I'd love the chance here, to play a course(s) that give me a love/hate relationship.

Well, WGT, possible or not? Like the idea or not? Give it some thought or in the trash with the rest of my suggestions? I would hope that there are others in our community that just might feel the same way!!!

uneven lies  is still in it's infancy, and is still a work in progress.
best way to test ANYTHING is not by imposing it in it's developing stage,
that's why UEL play is only in practice mode, and even when you play it
in tournaments it still does not effect your avg.

I like the idea of it, but it needs a LOT of work
